No Hate in Huron: Love Lives Here Network is a grassroots, federally incorporated non-profit based in Goderich, Ontario. We document and resist neo-Nazi and white supremacist activity in Huron County. We build community through advocacy, education, and strengthening our shared connections. We do this work without paid staff, without a building, and without any political party behind us.
Where your donation goes
- Host community events like our Christmas brunch, community cabaret, peace walk, and Canadian Anti-Hate Network educational event
- Bring expert voices to Huron County — covering travel, accommodations, and honoraria for out-of-town speakers, researchers, and special guests whose knowledge and lived experience strengthen our community’s capacity to recognize and resist hate
- Maintain nohateinhuron.ca, our public archive of correspondence, documentation, and the historical record we are building together
- Cover the modest but real operating costs of a federally incorporated non-profit: hosting, accounting, software, communications, the unglamorous infrastructure of staying alive as an organization
- Print posters, lawn signs, banners, and other visible materials that promote our events and let neighbours signal to one another and to visitors that we are a community proud to stand against organized hate
A note on tax receipts
NHiH is a registered Canadian non-profit corporation, but we are not a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency. This means we cannot issue charitable tax receipts for your donation. We know this matters to many donors, and we want you to know up front. What we can offer instead is full transparency about how your contribution is used, and our deepest gratitude.
